Milepost 4850: The Tale of Billy the Kid's Gravestone
We visited it today in Ft. Sumner, New Mexico. Would you believe the gravestone has been stolen and recovered twice? Now it rests over Billy's feet inside its own "jail." Preventative measure...
The highway in Texas was great, and we knew, even without a sign, that we'd left Texas! Suddenly, the roads were really in bad shape...
