Milepost 1103: We're in Texas Now

We travelled across a whole time zone, today! The traffic was great, and the weather was cool and cloudy, but nice.
Our day started out at St. Joseph's Church in Lordsburg, New Mexico. They were having confirmations at the 11 a.m. Mass - The whole class of 15!
After mass, we hopped back onto the I-10, heading toward Texas. As we entered El Paso, we took Texas 20, hoping to find the remains of Fort Hancock, south of El Paso. Well, we certainly found downtown El Paso, much to John's chagrin, but, no ruins. So, it was back on the I-10 to spend the night in Van Horn, Texas.
